    Shit.. Hit the Rev limiter a lil too much the other night..

    9500 RPM + CTR pistons + B18C5 + Plus big cams = THIS

    I Drove this motor VERY hard.. and gave me no problems. It was damn fast IMO (and MANY others). UNTIL the first time I hit the Rev limit.. Pretty damn hard...

    and yes, EFfilliated! it IS M&R Builds... C5 gone... ANOTHER JDM R coming in a few weeks.. This time WITHOUT CTR pistons...

    JDM ITR FTW in a few weeks..

    I have seen this kinda damage before this is what happens when a piston hits the head at high rpm! the other one i saw do this had a broke sping in the head and droped a valve!

    YUP.. All my Valve springs and retainers are perfect..

    BUT DAMN!! haha...


    I was taking this apart, and was like hmm... i wonder what is salvageable...

    bout an hour later...umm... NOTHING!! except my damn Valve springs, Retainers, Cams, the Crank is also still good.. Im getting it "Mic" to make sure..

    But what im not understanding is... How was there Metal parts All in EVERY cylinder? 2,3,4 were all still in perfect condition, when I took it apart.. Hmm....

    So ur saying this happend due to u bouncing off the rev limiter all the time? Was 9500 rpm really necessary for u to make power?

    He said he had big cams... they generally make power to higher RPM.

    But he didn't make more than 200hp, so they couldnt of been that big

    The pieces probably went into the head and came out when the valves opened....but i dont know. I would check your retainers VERY well, looks can be decieving...
